Instant Pot Brown Rice

Maximizing laziness by putting the recipe that comes with the Instant Pot on this blog.

Process

Ingredients:

2 cups of brown rice, I use jasmine usually

2 1/2 cups of water

Instructions:

Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer. Soak it for 15 minutes in fresh water.

Strain, add to instant pot. Add water. Don’t leave stray grains stuck on the side uncovered by water.

Close, lock, cook for 4 minutes and then do 10 minutes of natural release. Fluff and store.
